This was such a pleasant respite during a busy week touring Scotland! Roz is an absolutely wonderful host!
Tips:Great breakfast to get you on your way. The location is a short, quiet 8-10 minute walk to downtown Inverness with all it's shopping and dining. It's a perfect location for anyone interested in the Loch Ness Marathon, and easy access for driving about the Highlands. There is a Tesco and laundrette no more than a 10 minute walk for convenience.

A lovely place very close to city center. Roz was away the first day but David was a fantastic host! Even turned our car around for us because we were scared to back it in lol The room was very clean and comfy, nice view of the neighborhood and very quiet. He was even super nice on our last night to help us get dinner and drove my companion to a restaurant to pick it up. Really nice place, definitely recommend!
Tips:Definitely give La Le Turkish restaurant a go! And dont have too many drinks if you're walking over the foot bridge, haha it will make you think you're drunk already with the bouncing. but a quick walk to city center to anything you'd like. Oh and stop in Leaky's bookshop, amazing little place for a book reader to pick up a nice old gem :)

Parking was supplied which was very helpful as property was very near town centre. Able to walk into town for evening meals . Went on a boat trip and property handy for that too. Room was comfortable and clean.
Tips:Inverness town centre was wishing walking distance with a choice of eateries. We went on a dolphin watching trip and to Fort George. Were other there for a full day so not sure about other things to do. Accommodation was a continental breakfast but there was plenty of variety to choose from.

Tips:Took a full day tour of Skye which is recommended. Beautiful Inverness cathedral with many services as well as a tea shop on the property. Dinner at the Mustard Seed our final evening was very enjoyable. Recommend Leakey used book shop and Hootnanny. Lots of scenic walks possible. We loved staying here! The host was so friendly, and was ready with suggestions on places to eat or things to do during our time in Inverness. Our room and bathroom was spacious, very clean, and comfortable! We would definitely stay here again if we ever came back to Inverness. Once we found it the first time, it was very easy to navigate to and from town without using a map.
Tips:It takes around 10-15 minutes to walk from the house to city center, which is where most of the food and shopping is located. There is also a Tesco grocery store a bit closer, and one or two small food places along the way to town.

Over and above helpful when required. Spotlessly clean with a few extras like chocolates and getting our car de-iced. Classic tasteful decor. Breakfast was varied and plentiful in a beautiful wood fired dining room. 10 min walk into town. Highly recommend.
Tips:10 min walk across the river and there’s a variety of different levels of dining. Fine dine, pubs and in between. Great, safe walk along the river across a few bridges after dinner. We used Inverness to explore a few outlying points of interest with 20-40 min drive away. Castle in town is currently under repair but there’s a few not too far in any direction. Urquhart Castle along the river Ness was stunning.

We recently had the pleasure of spending 4 nights at Glenuig House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is in a quaint neighborhood that is easily accessible to shops, restaurants, and walking paths. Breakfasts were served in a lovely room and there was much to choose from. Roz made sure we had everything we needed. Our room was quite comfortable. We would definitely stay at Glenuig House again.
Tips:Would highly recommend making restaurant reservations in advance. We loved The Mustard Seed and the Kitchen Reataurant. Incredible food. Also went to Highlander’s Pub for fish and chips. MacGregors was also an excellent pub. The walking path to the islands is a lovely walk. We went on the LochNess Highlander tour and also the Isle of Skye Fairy Pools. Both are excellent, but long days. Well worth it.

The owners are onsite and went out of their way to make our stay extremely comfortable. The location is ideal with a pedestrian bridge to the city only a short walk away. The breakfasts were delicious and hardy- keeping us going until we enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Mustard Seed Restaurant. Book a stop here and you won’t be disappointed.
Tips:We hopped a taxi with a very nice driver who took us on a round trip tour of Loc Ness - he knew every stop along the way to get the best photos of kos, the castle, and the Loc. There is a boat tour of the lake that would be well worth taking - probably more easily accessible by bus tour.

This was the cutest, cozy, and very accessible place to stay! I would highly recommend staying here. We wish we got to stay one more night to enjoy the sit-down breakfast and sleep in. So happy we stayed here! I loved this town so much.
Tips:-Jacobite 1-hour boat cruise at Canmans Harbour, the hostess was kind enough to call us a taxi and the man actually picked us up afterward. There's a cute hotel cafe to enjoy a pint and the haggis there is delicious! -"WOW Scotland" day tour from Inverness to Isle of Skye with Andrew as your guide 10/10 recommend -If you can get a hold of Chocolates of Glenshiel they are amazing, we were fortunate Andrew stopped there on the day trip, but it's not officially in the itinerary -Cocktails at Whiskey & Rye, The Malt Room, and The Market Room are right next to it and have live music and a little area to throw shapes -Dinner at The Castle Tavern and Black Isle bar for pizza and beer

If we are lucky enough to return to Inverness, we would not stay anywhere but here! I had communicated with Roz prior to our stay via email, and she was always quick to respond. As soon as she opened the front door, we felt welcomed and knew we had chosen the right B&B. We had some travel issues and Roz and David went above and beyond to help us. We will be forever thankful to them for getting us back on track with our vacation plans. The room was spacious and immaculate with cozy pillows and blankets. I am a very light sleeper, and the location is very quiet (our room even faced the road). The breakfast room was lovely. Roz offered to make several types of cooked eggs which my husband accepted, and they came hot and fresh out of the kitchen in a few minutes. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and I was more than happy with the offered selection. Off street parking is a plus and the location is great! Excellent value!

This has been our best overall b&b experience in Scotland. Our friendly host let us check in at noon. Everything was comfortable and homey… breakfast was great! I only wish I had a chance to sit out in the lovely backyard.

We enjoyed our stay at Glenuig House. Our accommodations exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect spot for my family of 4 that includes 2 college age children.
Tips:We enjoyed a 12-Hour WOW Scotland Tour to the Isle of Skye. It was a long day, but preferred to driving ourselves.

An extremely welcoming place to stay, only 15 minutes walk from main transport links, shops etc. Our large room (4) is well appointed & comfortable, the breakfast choices are delicious & varied & Roz is a friendly hostess who makes you feel very welcome.
Tips:There are loads of restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Tbe city is easy to get around without a car. Book a Rabbies Tour - they're excellent.

I had such a lovely stay. It was just what I needed to rest up and recharge as I have been on the road since Jan 1st. Roz was absolutely wonderful. The breakfasts in the morning started my days off just right. I loved my room as well. It felt like home with the TV and big comfy mattress. The location is nice too as it is just a short walk to the city centre but in a quiet area. I couldn't be happier with my stay.
Tips:The laundry service down the street with the blue exterior is really great if you need to wash your clothes. Wow Scotland offers great tours of Skye from Inverness. I took the 1 full day tour (like 14 hours) with Wow and had a great experience.
